WEEK 10_REFLECTION ON EDU456

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! ❤

    For semester 2, I need to take EDU456 course which is Innovative Technologies in Teaching and Learning. Then, for today's blog, I will talk about my reflection towards this course. Nowadays, mostly everyone are using technology in their daily life especially in profession and also education.  At all levels of education, technology having important impacts. From this course, I have learn many innovative technologies that can be use for students and teachers such as software and websites. I learnt how to use Microsoft Word, Spreadsheets and PowerPoint for better work. There are many tools that I have never knew before. Luckily, this course giving me the opportunity to learn about it.

    There are a lot of topics that give beneficial for me such as flipped classroom, web for presentation tools and also issues in digital technology integration. As I learn about flipped classroom, I get to know how to implement a flipped classroom. Other than that, I also be able to create more engaging and interactive presentations using presentation tools such as Canva, Prezi and Emaze. Furthermore, I get to understand about the issues related to technology in higher education. Undoubtedly, I get to know how teachers feel about the issues they face in learning. I am responsible to help them reduce the issues by improving myself to become good learner. It is hard to satisfy every learner but the at least you can do is trying to understand each other. 

    There is no lack of anything in this course. I just love everything about this course. The main reason why I love learning this course because of Dr Norazah. Thanks to fate that I have a good lecturer that understand her students. Honestly, I have not feeling anxious or stress in learning this course as Dr Norazah never pressure her students with works. Then, she always provide her students with good materials of teaching such as YouTube videos and PDF files as notes. Due to that I have the ability to stop, pause, play and rewind the videos. Also I can print out the files given. Not forget to mention that Dr Norazah always ask for our health condition before the class start. I hope that Dr Norazah will be teaching us again for the next semester. 💞

Hi everyone! 🤍      Today, I want to talk about one online classroom application named Google Classroom. Google Classroom is a free online learning platform for educators built by Google to developing, delivering, and marking students' coursework easier. This platform allows students and teacher to communicate. Students can join the class through code or link that given by teachers. Educators can create a number of different classes where the students can submit and assign their work to be marking by teacher.       Google Classroom can be assess via Google and Chrome using any laptop or from any mobile phone that would give benefit toward both teachers and students.
