WEEK 8_FLIPPED CLASSROOM
Hello everyone! Have a nice day! 🤍
Here I am to talk about my favourite form of flipped classroom for these days. I would prefer watching YouTube video lectures as my favourite form of flipped classroom. YouTube is a video-sharing network that allows users to watch, upload, and share videos. It is a publicly visible webpage. This also applies to students. In reality, since the beginning of education, having to learn on YouTube has been extremely prevalent. All the videos relating to study, from pre-school to higher education are available on YouTube.
I love YouTube as platform of flipped classroom because the contents becomes available to students at anytime. Students are able to access the contents anytime they want. In addition, students that are not able to participate in the class can catch up quickly by watching the videos.
Other than that, YouTube also allows students to have more control on the video contents. Students have the ability to stop, pause, play and rewind the videos. By that, students can easily write down the questions they have. Then, it would make them to be more prepared when participate in class. This also gives students who really need to understand important topics to repeat the content at their own pace without falling behind, and to seek quick help from teachers and peers.
Furthermore, YouTube can be comfortably be access by any gadget as nowadays most of the students learn from their phone and computer.
